Hi, I'm Ettore — the eye behind Ettography
I take pictures to hold onto what moves too fast.
Backpacking across the world, places and people often pass by too quickly to really be seen. Photography is my way of stopping time and trying to understand and tell what a place left in me — and maybe what I left behind.
As the world — and life within it — is messy, so is my gallery. I don't follow a fixed style, I don't always shoot the same subjects, and I don't always use the same gear. I bounce between digital and analog — and yes, sometimes I shoot with my phone.
Out of this chaos, Ettography was born. The idea sparked while I was backpacking through Japan, took shape in Bosnia, came to life in Zurich and now lives wherever I am. It's my personal attempt to bring some kind of order to everything I see — to make sense of it all. And to let others feel what I felt when I took the shot, as vividly as I can.
If you want to share thoughts, feedback, or talk about a project (or a trip) just drop me a message on Instagram or send me an email if that's more your style. I'd love to hear from you!
